Angļu The collection of papers that has been published under the title “The History of the Press in Latvia: Discourses and Identities” is focused on the past of the Latvian media, and the papers are based on chronological principles. Authors have focused on discourses in the Latvian, Russian and Baltic German press during the period of Latvian independence from 1918 and 1939 and during the Nazi occupation (1941—1942). These have to do with various aspects of the construction and reconstruction of collective, ethnic, national and media identities. |
